Cooking Class at Harmons

Robbie reserved a spot for the both of us in a cooking class put on by Harmons grocery store in Draper. It was "Thai Temptations" night and we cooked some amazing food! Chef Bob would demonstrate what we were supposed to do, and then we would go to our cooking stations and make the food. We made Thai Spring Rolls, Masaman Curry, and Wing Bean Salad. Then we were served Mangos with Sweet Sticky Rice for dessert. It was so yummy!

Here I am with the Thai Spring Rolls. They were my favorite!

This is a picture of the Masaman Curry the day after we went. We had so much food that we couldn't eat it all, so they let us take the leftovers.

The class was so much fun and I would recommend going to one! Robbie and I hope that we can go to at least one more class because we had a blast. Thanks Robbie for the awesome birthday present!!

Hiking the Y

Robbie and I decided to get a little fresh air and hike the Y on Saturday afternoon. We stopped by Subway and grabbed some dinner for us to eat at the top of the Y. Here is where we started (you can see the white Y on the mountain if you look hard!)...And we made it to the top! Subway never tasted so good!

Wedding Photos

So I just realized that I haven't even posted our wedding pictures! Here are some of our favorites that capture the amazing day that we had. Thanks to all of our family and friends that were there to share the day with us. I can't believe it has been over 7 months!

Sick... sick... sick...

Robbie did not have a very fun week this past week. Tuesday night he started feeling sick with a sore throat and aches. He missed school and work all day Wednesday and Thursday. We decided to take him to the doctor Thursday afternoon after his temperature hit 103.4 degrees! He tested positive for strep and we got him on an antibiotic. He is doing much better now!

Christmas with the Irwins 2009

We are finally getting around to posting Christmas pictures! We spent Christmas with Robbie's family down in California. The weather was great and it was so nice to get a break from all the snow. We had a wonderful Christmas together and it was nice that Robbie and I didn't have to spend it many hours apart!

Robbie and I spent a day at an aquarium and the beach in California. It was really fun! And don't mind the little kid in our picture... his mom was taking the picture for us and didn't want her kid to be left out!

Here we are on Christmas day... I had to wait until 9:00 to open presents! Which was like torture for me because my family always wakes up around 4:00. :) But it was a lot of fun and it made the day and the fun last a little longer.

Travis decided to play a joke on us and he gave us a gift card to Destination Maternity. We thought it was a real gift card and he actually spent money there! But then he told us there was nothing on the card. He really wants to be an uncle! Someday Travis...
